Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Magic BG Remover. By using the service you accept the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
1. Service Scope
Magic BG Remover provides browser-based background removal and manual touch-up tools for image editing. The service is offered free of charge, without an account, and without a per-image quota.
All image processing takes place in your browser on your own device. The service does not receive, transmit, or store the images you edit. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
2. Acceptable Use
You must comply with applicable law and may not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity. This includes generating or distributing content that infringes the rights of others, content that is defamatory or unlawful, and content produced to deceive or harass.
You may not attempt to disrupt the service, generate abnormal automated traffic against it, or interfere with the advertising or analytics it depends on to remain free.
3. Your Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for the images you process and must hold the legal right to edit them. This includes copyright in the photograph itself and, where applicable, the consent of people appearing in it.
Because processing happens entirely on your device, we have no visibility into what you edit and cannot review, moderate, or recover it.
4. Intellectual Property
The service interface, design, and related assets are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You retain all rights to the images you supply and to the cut-outs you produce. The service claims no ownership over your input or output, and places no licence conditions or watermark on the results.
5. Availability and Changes
Service functionality may be updated, adjusted, or interrupted for maintenance, security, or performance reasons, and features may change as the underlying model and browser APIs evolve.
The service depends on third-party hosting and content delivery networks, so availability may also be affected by factors outside our control. No specific level of availability is guaranteed.
6. Advertising
The service is funded by advertising displayed on the site. Continued availability of the free service depends on that advertising being served normally.
Which advertising technologies are used, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis. Output quality depends on the source image and is not guaranteed for any particular photograph or purpose, and the service is not offered as a substitute for professional retouching where a specific result is required.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including any loss of data or of business opportunity.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised when the service, its funding model, or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page together with its last-updated date, and continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
