1. Core Principle

Magic BG Remover performs image processing on your device. The photo you select is decoded and analysed inside your browser, and the background removal model runs there as well. Your images are not transmitted to our servers, and there is no upload endpoint that could receive them.

This is a property of how the service is built rather than a promise about how we handle stored files: no stored files are created in the first place.

2. Image Processing

Images you select are used only to generate the background-removed output inside your browser. Processing is temporary and scoped to the active browser session. Closing or reloading the tab discards the image and any intermediate data from memory.

Downloaded results are written directly to your device by your browser. We do not receive a copy.

3. Analytics and Technical Data

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — page views, approximate traffic sources, browser and device categories, and whether ad slots rendered. This tells us whether the service is working and worth maintaining.

The data is analysed in aggregate and is not used to identify individuals. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy.

4. Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site functionality, for remembering interface preferences, for anonymous traffic measurement, and for advertising as described in the next section.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The background removal tool itself does not depend on cookies, so blocking them does not prevent you from using it.

8. Your Choices

You can manage advertising personalisation through Google Ads Settings, manage or block cookies in your browser settings, and use private browsing mode to limit what persists between sessions.

Because images are never transmitted to us, there is no stored image data for you to request access to, correct, or delete.
